  • Steve Porter brings his Porterhouse style back to Private Function on Friday 26 August, a whirlwind 18 months after his debut as their first international guest DJ. The people who caught Steve's three hour set last time, all notched it up as Dj brilliance and a night at Private Function to never forget. With this in mind, there'll be a lot of people keen to check him again at PF's new home of Altitude so don't get down to the venue too late. Since 2003 Steve has been busy with his debut artist album 'Homegrown', and the Homegrown EP releases from it, now up the number three (read the review), countless tracks with collaborators and his massive bootleg of Coldplay's single 'Speed Of Sound' all earning repeated plays. Steve has now cemented his position as one of the hottest, most prolific and definately most talented producers and DJs in the world. Steve's unique sound of mixed up house, progressive, techno and trance has now been christened with its own name, Porterhouse, after the party he threw at the Miami Winter Music Conference this year. Now in 2005, Steve brings the Porterhouse experience to Private Function with him. Joining Steve again will be the PF residents, Gavin Martin, Aaron Roach, Dean Millson and Big Kev.
