We interrupt this news alert to inform you about the release of Coburn’s recent hit which has got a new lick of paint and remixes to boot! Coburn are electro rockers Pete Martin & Tim Healy, who have been spending time in studio lock ups together since 1993 blending live instruments, real songs and electronic loops together. Recently they have produced a cross genre anthem ‘We Interrupt This Programme...’ which many of you may have already heard rocking dance floors globally.
One of this summer’s slow burners, it was originally released on Germany’s Great Stuff Records before Data Records noticed this records potential and snapped it up, giving it a polish with sparkly new mixes from JCA, Raul Rincon and the Stantons.
‘We Interrupt This Programme…’ sneaked onto the scene at the beginning of the year and has since caught the ear of a number of leading lights across a wide variety of genres. Licensed to 11 different territories, it is also set to feature on the new Citroen C1 TV advertising campaign. Fresh mixes come from Raul Rincon, JCA and kings of the beats the Stanton Warriors. It will be out through Data Records in November.
