Wes Pentz, better known as Diplo, and famous for his co-production of M.I.A's 'Arular' and work with the NinjaTune label, has been handed over the controls for the latest installment in the FABRICLIVE series. His combined hiphop, techno and rocky electronic sounds mesh together in this action-packed release for the Fabric label. Born in Mississippi, Diplo has been on the road of late, moving from Miami to Philadelphia then onto NYC and beyond, including his first ever London gig at surprise, surprise Fabric. Speaking about the release, Diplo said: "I wanted to do the mix as a history of the electro/ Miami Bass sound, but throwing in all sorts of things with a funk feel… I wanted to break out a lot of new stuff that people might not be exposed to yet as well. I went a little out there and put on tracks people might not be familiar with just 'cuz it's a FABRICLIVE mixtape". FABRICLIVE 24 - Diplo Tracklisting: 01.
