Layo + Bushwacka! have finished recording their third album; ‘Feels Closer’. The follow up to 2002’s 100,000 selling ‘Night Works’ LP, which spawned the top 10 anthem ‘Love Story’, was recorded in London, Brazil and New York. Speaking about the album, Layo explains that the album takes influence from the three recording locations, with the final product very much the L+B sound of now:"Half the album is downtempo and laidback. It’s probably our warmest work to date, and features an array of fantastic singers and musicians, which is a new direction for us. Our recording in New York and Brazil was a major influence and is reflected in the variety of music on the album. We feel very connected with this work and where we want to be musically, and in our lives, hence the title Feels Closer".

The first single, aimed firmly at the dance floor, ‘Life2Live’ features a guest vocal from the mighty Green Velvet and is aimed squarely at the dancefloor. It will be released at the end of January, with remixes from Loco Dice, Jesse Rose and Green Velvet himself.
To get the ball the hype ball rolling, there are three very limited 12” single release from Layo and Bushwacka!. Only 400 copies will be available, featuring tracks from the album and special exclusive cuts.
