  • Mark Spoon (real name Markus Löffel), known as one half of 'Jam & Spoon' who produced the unforgettable "Stella" and "Right In The Night" tracks in the early nineties, has been found dead in his Berlin home. Major record company, Universal Music, was unable to provide further details about the circumstances of his death. However it was reported that Mark succumbed to a cardiac infarct (a type of heart attack) on January 10, sending a shockwave to fans around the world. Jam & Spoon came to attention as pioneers of the early trance sound with the release "Stella", and in the mid-nineties found further fame with their remixes of Age Of Love's "The Age Of Love" (featured on Sasha and John Digweed's "Renaissance - The Mix Collection") and the Moby classic "Go". We will keep you updated as we receive more detail but for the moment there are various postings on German based websites for those of you with an understanding of the Deutschland language.
