AgentMad keep the breakbeat and drum'n'bass goodness coming in 2006 with some big tours over the next couple of months. First cab off the rank will be DJ Marky (Brazil, Innerground) and Stamina MC who will be part of the Good Vibrations Festival lineup (more tour news here).
March will see drum'n'bass legend LTJ Bukem with his trusty sidekick MC Conrad tour Australia and New Zealand in between Asian gigs in China, Thailand and Singapore. The tour is to mark 13 years in business for the drum'n'bass record label Bukem founded, Good Looking Records. The label was cultivated from a concept born from Bukem's passionate belief that a unique musical sound needed a platform for expression. His style of drum'n'bass is truely unique as is Conrad's vocal work. This tour will be much anticipated by their fans, and is not to be missed for those into the lighter side of d'n'b.
Due out in April will be beatbeat Dj and Producer B.L.I.M. As part of his tour he'll be headlining the next 33&1/3 party in Melbourne on Good Friday, 14 April. BLIM aka Gervase Cooke has been releasing songs since 1995, but his reputation took on new horizons when he signed up to Rennie Pilgrem's label TCR and set up his own label Track in 2001. Since then he's made the anthemic ‘Eskimo’ with Rennie and gone on to do a solo artist album ‘Lost In Music’. His tours have taken breakbeat to the four corners of the world, as well as entertaining the masses who love a breakbeat night out at Fabric. Bring it on!
