Aside from being excited about the new video clip for his track 'L Nuit' off his album 'Familia', Pier Bucci is also really looking forward to his upcoming appearance at the Crosstown Rebels presents Get Lost Afterhours, since it will be the first time he has played at the Winter Music Conference. "For me it will be a surprise because I've never been to Miami for a gig before, " says Bucci. "I think it will be full of industry people having a good time and a good opportunity to meet new people and make new friends." Pier Bucci will be performing live at the WMC with his laptop and a few machines from his studio, including the elektribe and nomomachine synth, both made by elektron. We asked Bucci, which of his tracks he enjoys playing out the most? "I think 'Hay Consuelo' and 'L Nuit' as the others are not so dancefloor oriented. I don't play them live in clubs, just at festivals and special places or situations where I find they can fit in nicely." Unlike some artists who simply add additional effects on top of pre-arranged tracks, Pier Bucci says, "I'm always playing 'new' tracks in my live sets. Often, new tracks are born from the live sets. I'll play the tracks with different vocals and mix effects with them and involve rich and warm rhythmical percussions." The Crosstown Rebels presents Get Lost Afterhours with Pier Bucci, Damian Lazarus and more takes place at Studio A on March 25th.
