After a hugely successful debut, Cape Town's Global Breakthough tour makes a welcome return to the Southern Hemisphere clubbing calendar. The first event (March 2006) saw 7 major events over a 10 day period, with parties on boats, beaches mansions and purpose built clubs, providing a sunny un tarnished week of parties without the San Antonio factor.
Taking place from 16 Feb - 4 Mar 2007, this forthcoming event will see another huge line-up of international stars alongside local talent performing at 8 parties across an extravagant array of Cape Town venues. In between parties rest days are filled with extreme sports, or for the cultured souls, limousine tours of the local vineyards.
The ink isn’t yet dry on a number of artist contracts so this will be fully revealed in coming weeks, but having seen the prospective line-up we can confirm that its top drawer and will offer a range of artists and styles.
Global Breakthrough’s 2007 clubbing holiday packages are expected to be launched shortly with full inclusive packages covering flights, villa accommodation, event tickets and extreme ‘rest day’ sports RA is already applying its fake tan so we don’t look out of place.
