  • Tribal house legend Danny Tenaglia has been booked to play in the UK for the first time in almost two years. DT will spin at Ministry of Sound, London in September. Danny Tenaglia, or simply DT as he's known in house circles, pioneered the tribal house movement in the mid-late nineties via releases on New York's Tribal America and Twisted labels. His track 'Elements' which took clubbers "on a tour of a 12 inch" from the album 'Tourism' became a blueprint for the tribal house sound. Tenaglia also earned props from both clubbers and his dance music peers for his Be Yourself residency at Arc/Vinyl in New York from 1999-2004 where he often spun all-night marathon sets. He has just released 'Dibiza (Bring The Drums Back)' [Stereo Productions] his first original release in six years. Tenaglia chose London as the city for his 'Global Underground 017' compilation but since then his visits have been few and far between. He last played London back in November 2004 at the BoraBora night at Heaven. For his first gig on UK soil in almost two years Tenaglia will play at the We Love ClubClass night at Ministry of Sound with Paul Woolford on warm up duties. Elsewhere on the night, Nic Fanciulli will DJ back to back with Desyn Masiello in The Bar with support by Luke Dzierkek. Groove Monkey DJs will be on the decks in the Baby Box all night. We Love ClubClass takes place on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Ministry of Sound, London.
