- Drill'n'bass experimentalist Squarepusher breaks two years of silence with a new album
Squarepusher breaks two years of silence with a new album. “Hello Everything” will be released on Warp Records mid-October.
Squarepusher, aka Tom Jenkinson, has been mining the experimental drill’n’bass vein for more than a decade now. Previous album ‘Ultravisitor’ [2004] showcased Jenkinson’s penchant with mixing jazz, noise and live modern electronics, and if the track ‘The Modern Bass Guitar’ from the new album is representative, ‘Hello Everything’ promises more of the same. The track is available to stream from Warp Records.
As a taster for the album, Squarepusher will release three tracks as digital singles via major download stores. Only one of these will appear on the album. First track ‘Welcome to Europe’ will be available to download September 4th. Track two will follow on September 18th, and the final track will be available October 2nd.
