- Great Dane Trentemoller and widescreen breaks duo Hybrid will bring in New Year's Eve 2007 at the Chinese Laundry in Sydney. Trentemoller and Hybrid are two of the first acts confirmed to play on New Year's Eve, and hence New Year's Day, in Australia. Both artists will play at the Big Trouble in Little China themed party at Sydney's Chinese Laundry. Hybrid will spin a three-hour DJ set while Trentemoller will perform a live set of his own material with longtime friend and touring partner DJ Tom. By the time December 31st comes around, both acts will have plenty of reasons to celebrate; this month progressive breaks duo Hybrid released their third album 'Choose Noise' while next month Trentemoller unveils his debut longplayer 'The Last Resort' on Pokerflat. Joining Trentemoller and Hybrid will be ragga breaks specialist FreQ Nasty and American mash-up king Z-Trip who stole the show at this year's Good Vibrations Festival. Supporting locals include Mark Dynamix and Dopamine. Early bird tickets priced at $80 go on sale on Monday September 25th, 2006. Trentemoller, Hybrid, Freq Nasty and Z-Trip play the Chinese Laundry on December 31, 2006.
