At first glance, Kompakt head honcho Michael Mayer and darling-of-prog Nic Fanciulli might not have much in common, but these days the Germany/England divide is narrowing and you're as likely to find Mayer spinning trance as minimal and Fanciulli playing electrohouse as prog. Both also come to Australia with compilation sequels: Mayer will be carting along 'Immer 2' while Fanciulli will be touring in support of his second volume for Renaissance. RA is not sure who's headlining the bill (looks like this one is a coin toss), but Sydneysiders would be well advised to get yourselves down to Club Yu - it'll be another twelve months before either makes their way back down under.
