Hawtin, Magda, Troy Pierce & co are spreading out across the globe like Mormons this month in a huge push to convert clubbers to the Minimal faith.
M_nus leader Hawtin is in South America, with parties at the lovely D-Edge Club in Sao Paulo and nights also further south in Argentina & Uruguay. Key dates for Magda include a free party at the T-Bar in Shoreditch as well as the Groove Party in Frankfurt and at Rave on Snow up the mountains in Austria. Gaiser takes on Eastern Europe, and if you want a M_nus Balearic holiday, Magda, Gaiser and Matthew Dear are all wintering with dates in Mallorca.
Like with the Catholics, it all culminates with the M_nus faithful gathering in Italy at the end of December, except not at the Vatican but in Rome, on the M_nus stage at the 20,000-strong Amore Festival on New Year’s Eve. Hawtin, Pierce & Magda will be DJing and Houle, Heartthrob, Gaiser and latest signing JPLS will be putting forth live from the pulpit. Praise be, amen.
