Global Breakthrough is a week-long series of parties happening in the Mother City featuring some of the big names in European house and techno in unpredictable locations. Making his GB debut in 2008 is Cadenza chief Luciano, who will spin at a downtown Cape Town warehouse. Meanwhile deep house connoisseurs Âme return from spinning in an aquarium at this year's event to host a sunset-to-sunrise mini-Innervisions showcase alongside Henrik Schwarz on top of Signal Hill together with Tom and Gary, the DJ arm of rock/pop outfit Snow Patrol. Watch this space for details of headliners and locations for three other parties. Global Breakthrough happens February 22, 2008 to March 1, 2008 in Cape Town.
