Techno bookers Kinetic AM turn the big three with a neo-Detroit and dub techno special at Tresor next week.
Kinetic represent many of techno's old guard (Mark Broom, Luke Slater, Jay Denham, Octave One) not to mention some of its best newer faces (Andy Stott, Redshape) so they've got plenty of reasons to celebrate. Their third birthday party happens upstairs in the Batterieraum of Berlin's concrete clubbing powerhouse Tresor, and the line-up is big on thump and reverb with two live and four DJ sets.
Dub techno's odd couple Soultek and DeepChord perform one of their fist-pumping Echospace live sets alongside the mysterious neo-Detroit producer Redshape. Mixing up the platters will be Deetron, Raudive (the softer side of Oliver Ho), Len Faki, who sneaks over from the Berghain, as well as Kinetic AM chief Alan Sommerville there to stamp his staffers timecards.
