Self-proclaimed "sexiest man alive" and Minus producer Heartthrob drops his debut album this summer.
Dubbed Dear Painter, Paint Me, New Yorker-turned-Parisian-turned-Berliner Jesse Siminski is calling his debut an “autobiographical album.” The producer, who hit big with ‘Baby Kate’ and his Gaiser collaboration ‘Nasty Girl’, seems to be in an melancholic mood, then, if we’re judging solely by track titles. ‘Heading for a Heartbreak’, ‘Confession’, ‘Slow Dance’? Cheer up, Jesse!
Heartthrob is undoubtedly one of the most melodic and accessible producers on the M_nus roster, and Siminski promises that Dear Painter, Paint Me will be full of “mischievous time signatures” and “a penchant for the dramatic and an underlying sense of the absurd”. Sounds good to us.
