  • Classic Records and Music For Freaks will return this September, releasing its wares in the digital format. The celebrated labels, formed by Chicago house veteran Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon, have been relatively quiet of late, putting out digital singles and vinyl via Japan in collectors editions only. In September, though, the label will launch Classic Digital, which will see remixes of, ahem, classic back catalogue material. But while the duo will take their imprint digital, that doesn't mean they'll be giving up vinyl altogether: There will still be collector's editions of key releases. On the docket for release? A Fabrice Lig remix of Rob Mello's 'Critical', a Henrik Schwarz re-rub of Isolee's 'Brazil.com' and many more yet to be announced.
