Japanese producer Kuniyuki has compiled an album full of remixes from acts such as Theo Parrish, Henrik Schwarz and Cobblestone Jazz. Kuniyuki Remixed will be released in October.
Kuniyuki's house and "future jazz" epic All These Things was released late last year on Mule Musiq. But instead of going the normal 12-inch singles route, the producer corralled in some of today's most talented producers and remixers to take a crack at his work in a series of EPs that have been released throughout 2008. The results, along with a few exclusives are gathered on Kuniyuki Remixed. Remarkably cohesive, despite the varied amount of producers on hand, the album is a laidback trip through smooth and soulful house music that's heavy on the atmosphere. (Also included are two remixes from Kuniyuki himself, as well as an exclusive new song.)
