- The M_nus producer will release his debut album in November.
M_nus foot soldier Gaiser will release his debut full-length on the imprint in November.
Called Blank Fade, M_nus is promising "a soundtrack to some hidden nocturnal habitat, full of weird and wonderful creatures that stalk the darkness." Sounds good to us, but if we're going on past Gaiser experiences, we're guessing that means a whole lot of minimal techno. But, hey, we've got no issue with that: As RA's Angus Dawson pointed out in his review of Gaiser's previous release for the label, Eye Contact, "It’s fair to say that Gaiser’s productions are just that much more a cut above the rest. There is more kick in his kick drums, and snap to his beats." High praise indeed.
Apparently, much of Blank Fade was written during M_nus's "Ten Weeks of Silence" earlier this year, providing the world one of the first glimpses as to what the label's artists were up to during that period. (Aside from the infamous Cube and Marc Houle's "Sixty-Four" project, of course.)
