- The enigmatic Detroit DJ will make an exclusive London appearance on Monday.
- Detroit soul man Moodymann will make a one-off London performance tonight at Bar Rumba. The Motor City's Rick Wilhite had been scheduled to perform as part of the Gilles Peterson-curated Worldwide Underground night at the venue, but late last week organizers announced that the man responsible for "Shades of Jae" would be playing instead. As a result, we're guessing that the people at Bar Rumba must be busy this morning buying Mr. Dixon Jr.'s customary curtain for him to perform behind, but if the aural results are anything like his customary soul-infused sets, the investment will have been well worth it.
