- The label will focus on emerging American producers for its second label compilation.
AirDrop will once again focus its energies on highlighting an area of the world this winter when it releases another compilation in its Extraction series.
The label, which makes its home in both Buenos Aires and New York has gone closer to the latter for its second edition, highlighting established and up-and-coming producers from America. All areas of the country seem to be covered, from San Francisco (Alland Byallo, J.Phlip) to New York (Elon, Stefny)—with even a stopover in Nebraska (Lunatik). Because of the geographical differences, there is little that links these artists together musically: Marcel Wave plies a clean tech house sound, while Constar has clearly been bitten by the minimal bug. One thing seems to be for sure, however, you'll soon be hearing many of these names popping up again on AirDrop and other labels.
