The New York techno weekly will begin in January at Rebel.
New Yorkers clubbers are rarely left starving for choice, but starting early next year they'll be positively spoiled when Made Event begins their new weekly, Save the Cannibals, at Rebel.
After hosting Sunday School for Degenerates' club party at the venue, it seems as though the promoters found a spot they liked: the upstairs at Rebel will be host to a rotating cast of six quarterly residents (Adultnapper, Cassy, Martin Landsky, Matthew Dear, Seth Troxler and Steve Bug) every Saturday night beginning on January 24. Bug will kick things off on that date in celebration of the 10th anniversary of his Poker Flat imprint along with rising local Eric Cloutier with the rest of the residents set to take over the venue's upstairs space throughout the rest of January and February. Noticeably absent from the initial lineup is young Seth Troxler, but with Lee Burridge on tap for February 21st and the March lineup unannounced, something tells us that the cannibals will indeed be satisfied eventually.
