  • It hardly seems like Berlin needs yet another club—what with so many of them in Germany's capital city hosting techno's elite each weekend—but that hasn't stopped the people behind Mitte's Dice. Set to open on Valentine's Day next year, the space—which was formerly an electricity station—will seek to feature the frustratingly vague "consistent lineup of the best local and international DJs and live acts." That said, in the initial press release for the club, the names Aril Brikha, Luke Solomon, Simon Baker, Ralph Lawson, Dirt Crew, Aux 88, Spirit Catcher, Gabriel Ananda and Daniel Mehlhardt were all mentioned as being booked in the opening months of the club. It'll be interesting to see if that varied list of DJs coheres into a consistent sound ala Berghain or whether they continue to book all sorts like Tape, but with a sound system installed by Funktion One and lights by Room Division, we're sure that it's going to both look and sound good.
