- Canadian-born dub maestro Deadbeat and dubstep doyen Rusko will perform later this week as part of a bass-heavy gig in Syndey. The duo, each pursuing their particular form of bass obsession to its logical end, are set to headline the two rooms that VOID has put together at Phoenix Bar on Friday night. With Deadbeat bringing his celebrated live set, and Rusko platters of wax for a DJ set akin to the Fabric set that won him new fans across the world, we're guessing that should be enough to get you out. Not good enough? What if we let slip that Harmonic 313 man Mark Pritchard was also going to be there? With a line-up like that, we advise you to get there early with your best pair of earplugs to ensure entry and the safety of your ears.
