The Los Angeles trio has a new label and event series.
Droog has announced the launch of their very own label, Culprit.
The Los Angeles trio has been throwing parties in the city for a few years now and, in the process, now counts a number of talented producers as friends. For the first release on the imprint, they've called many of them in to help its launch: Lee Foss, Lee Curtiss, Jamie Jones, [a]pendics.shuffle and Seth Troxler all appear on the four track EP under various guises, a release which should see the light of day sometime in April or May.
The crew will celebrate the imprint's impending launch with The Culprit Sessions, a series of parties on the Standard Downtown Hotel roof. Its first edition, coming up this weekend, has Jones, Foss, Droog, Damian Lazarus and Clive Henry all lined up to take to the decks. If you're not on the West Coast, though, you needn't worry: There'll be plenty of opportunity to see the boys at the WMC in Miami next week. Linked below are four of the parties they'll be playing.
