The fledgling Dutch label will host the outspoken Detroit producer/DJ in Amsterdam later this month.
Dekmantel is a collective of Dutch artists that have found common ground in their love for underground electronic music, with a specific passion for American house, disco and techno. Counting established artists such as Makam and San Proper amongst their members, the collective have forged their place within the Amsterdam party scene for over two years, and have recently starting their label with a release from their own Juju & Jordash.
Their latest party will see the two major cities of American electronic music culture go head to head, with FXHE owner Omar-S representing Detroit in the main room, whilst Chicago's Rahaan will be pulling out all the stops down in the basement with a five hour set of vintage disco, which is bound to be peppered with plenty of his own edits. Dekmantel founders Thomas Martojo and Casper Tielrooij will provide support on the night, which takes place at one of Amsterdam's most popular venues, the Paradiso.
