  • It's an enormous continent, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't be hesitant about traveling: Some of NYE's biggest clubbing highlights will be taking place in Asia this year. To wit, Ricardo Villalobos will be bringing in 2010 in Moscow. (Which isn't technically in Europe, but we forgot to mention it in our round-up of that region, so we're making amends here.) Either way, the Chilean minimalist will be headlining Arma 17's 48 hours of celebrations, backed up by Zip, Margaret Dygas, Rudolf, Masomenos and Easy Changes. In Tokyo, you'll have Satoshi Tomiie, Radio Slave and Hector Romero headline Air's New Year's Eve countdown. Across town at Legato, Berlin duo Exercise One are set to perform live amongst a cast of Japanese locals. But undoubtedly the biggest event of the night will be Jeff Mills returning to the country for the first time in four years for his Sleeper Wakes event at Womb. Be there for "the very first second of the first day of the Year 2010" for his special one-off night, complete with plenty of unreleased and exclusive music. In Singapore, Chicago house luminary Marshall Jefferson plays We Are VIP at Azzura in the beachside Sentosa district. Further inland, trance fans are looked after with Gatecrasher hosting Blank & Jones and Scott Bond at Marina Barrage, while South Korea will host Yuksek at Seoul's W Hotel, backed up by locals East Collective and Mindbusters. And in the Middle East? Lebanese progressive tandem RoNiN & Nesta stay home to play New Year's Cliché at Basement.
