  • Soundstream and Prosumer will team up for a rare collaborative session in Amsterdam at the end of November. The Trouw venue launched their Zondagmiddag party series last month with a performance from Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann (with Seth Troxler even passing through to play a surprise tag-team set with Patrice Baumel), and their monthly daytime bash is set to continue on November 29th with another pair of Berlin-based DJs. Frank Timm is a versatile fellow with two disparate monikers; and while his Soundhack material focuses on micro-sampled club tools that will level all but the most lethargic dance floors, it's his work as Soundstream that has won over fans of house and disco with its unfolding loops and irresistable grooves. You can normally find him behind the Technics showcasing his envious record collection when he plays out, but his performance at Trouw will see him perform his Soundstream material live, with the added bonus of Prosumer on vocal duties. Melon and the Dekmantel Soundsystem (this time comprised of Casper Tielrooij, Jan van Kampen and Thomas Martojo) will offer support, and with the party's precedent for unannounced sets, we wouldn't be surprised if Prosumer brought some records along just in case.
