  • Fresh off the back of his fabric 50 mix, Martyn will headline London's Deadly Rhythm event on Friday 29th January. The party will be the Dutchman's second January performance in the capital following his launch party at fabric on January 16th, but will give fans an opportunity to catch the man in the much more intimate confines of South West London's Plan B club, which recently relaunched with a brand new Funktion One sound system. Since slowing his productions down from his drum'n'bass days, Martyn has become a spearhead for the genre-blurring trends in the bass music community, and that theme will be prevalent throughout the entire Deadly Rhythm party, with house, techno, UK garage and funky likely to be juggled between more conventional dubstep selections. 2562 will be the Netherlands' second representative on the night with his rolling and techy take on the sound, while New York's FaltyDL will bring his laptop-enabled blend of swinging UK garage, IDM and jungle to the city that he cites as his major musical influence. Jackmaster has already more than proved his DJing salt with countless mixes strewn across the internet, and the former Wireblock and Dress 2 Sweat label boss (which now make up part of the Numbers imprint) will complete the guest line-up for what promises to be a relentless evening of sub-heavy entertainment. Tickets for the Deadly Rhythm bash are now available to purchase directly via RA Tickets.
