- Kuniyuki Takahashi will release his third studio album under his more experimental and ambient moniker later in the year.
Koss will issue his latest full-length in March.
Koss is the experimental and ambient project of Japanese producer Kuniyuki Takahashi, who is generally best known for his deep house productions as Kuniyuki. His forthcoming Ancient Rain release sees him continue the fruitful relationship that he's had with Mule Musiq over the course of the last five years, and while the album may have been issued in Japan in late-'08, it will now see a more widespread release via the Mule Electronic sub-label. While Takahashi's previous ambient album consisted of four long tracks, Ancient Rain sees him return to shorter and more concise pieces, showcasing a drifting and introspective sound that is peppered with restrained slow house tracks like "Ocean Rain," which will also be released as a 12-inch with a remix from Swedish duo Minilogue. The remix will be the first collaboration between the two acts, with plans for them to enter the studio together later this year.
