- The British DJ and producer will release his next full-length this May.
Christopher Spero, AKA Glimpse, will release his new full-length on Crosstown Rebels later this spring.
Runner will be the British producer's first proper album to date, and will consist entirely of previously unreleased tracks. Stylistically, the record dabbles in a variety of different moods and genres, trying out a classic deep house vibe on "Things to Do in Denver" and "I Know I Show It," while opting for a more modern, trippy sound on tracks like "Walk Tall" and "If I Was Your Girl." Bits of field recordings are strewn across the album, in what Glimpse describes as an attempt to "stamp my environment and current situation on tracks... whether that be a train journey, lo-fi electronica, jazz, pop, dub, techno or a Single Malt whiskey." Additionally, most of the tunes were recorded live on analogue equipment, enhancing the album's warm and organic feel.
