  • DJ Deep's Deeply Rooted Night will make a return to Paris' Rex Club on Saturday 27th February. The party will be the second Deeply Rooted bash that Deep has thrown at the venue, with the first taking place last month and showcasing an upbeat techno style from Robert Hood and Norman Nodge. This time around, the bash will have a slightly more diverse mandate, with Hard Wax employee DJ Pete set to grace the decks with his contemporary techno, classic house and vintage dubstep selections. It's always a difficult one to predict which way Pete will go with his DJ sets, but with his envious collection and turntable experience, he's sure to pull something interesting out of the bag. Joining the pair will be Shed, who will play the only live set of the evening. While his DJing skills are certainly impressive, Rene Pawlowitz is arguably a much more entertaining live performer, drawing on a multitude of tracks from 2008's Shedding the Past and adding in material from his Wax and Equalized pseudonyms to devastating effect. Pawlowitz has had a quiet year as far as his Shed material is concerned, so fans may even have the chance to check out the Berlin resident preview some new material at the show.
