- Zip and Margaret Dygas will be in town later this month for Louche's label showcase at Mint Club.
Zip will head up a Perlon label showcase at Leeds' Mint Club on Saturday 17th April.
Real name Thomas Franzmann, the German DJ and producer who co-founded Perlon with Markus Nikolai has managed to cultivate what is arguably his country's most recognisable minimal techno and house imprint. From the iconic sleeve design down to the producers like Shackleton, STL and Villalobos who grace their records, it's hard not to admire what they've built up over the past 13 years. The guys behind Leeds' Louche night are obviously big fans as well, inviting both Zip and fellow Panorama Bar regular Margaret Dygas to headline proceedings at Mint.
Boasting Watergate-esque lighting and a Funktion One sound system, the club is bound to bring back a few memories or Berlin for some people, and Perlon's infectious brand of minimalism should certainly help matters. Louche residents Matt Roche, Brinsley Kazak and Josh Tweek will provide support.
