- The Swedish pop star will release the first of three albums this summer.
Swedish electronic diva Robyn has announced the details of her next album, Body Talk Pt. 1, due for release this June.
The eight-song record will be the first installment in what is planned to be a trilogy of mini-albums. Robyn explains that she wanted to release her new songs as they're finished, rather than wait for a normal length album to be completed. "I got all these great songs so why not?" she says. "I also can’t wait to play live again and this enables me to tour and record at the same time. I just want to keep making music."
Body Talk Pt. 1 will feature guest production work by Scandanavian artists like Royksopp, Kleerup and Klas Ahlund, as well as Mad Decent boss Diplo, who produced the track "Dance Hall Queen." For a taste of what the album has in store, check out the stream of "Fembot" on Robyn's homepage.
