  • Ableton have opened up the creation of their Live instruments to third party sound designers for the first time. Going under the banner of Partner Instruments, the series—which is available through Ableton as of today—brings together a total of seven "audio scientists" who have created a brand new range of instruments for Ableton Live. The series covers a sizable scope of acoustic and electronic sounds; from e-instruments' various grand pianos, through to Soniccouture's wide-ranging drums and percussion kits. Flatpack, Puremagnetik, Sample Logic, SonArte and Toontrack have also contributed to the series. For a full list of what's available, follow the link below to the Ableton Instruments by partners page. Ableton's Instruments by partners range is available now. Prices range from 29 to 79 euro.
