Our daytime off-Sonar event will feature Michael Mayer and Steve Bug, while Mobilee's boasts Daniel Stefanik and Anja Schneider.
Anyone who has been attending Sonar these past few years probably has their own tales of misspent afternoons at Mobilee's rooftop pool parties. Hotel Diagonal has housed these infamous capers since 2007, and come the festival's opening night on June 17th, RA and audio technology manufacturer AKG will be getting in on the action as well. Kompakt's Michael Mayer and Poker Flat's Steve Bug will cut the ribbon on the weekend's festivities, joined by Made To Play boss Jesse Rose and current RA podcaster Eric Duncan of Rub N Tug fame.
Mobilee, meanwhile, will reprise their Diagonal presence for 2010 with a double-header across the following two days. Friday sees Hamburg's Diynamic imprint join in the fun, with artists from both labels—Daniel Stefanik, Stimming, Solomun, Marcin Czubala, And.ID and H.O.S.H.—supplying the sounds. Israeli producer Guy Gerber and his Supplement Facts posse are the guests for Saturday, with Anja Schneider, Pan-Pot, Rodriguez Jr., dOP and Varoslav rounding off the rest of the bill.
As with many rooftop parties during the Sonar weekend, floor space is at a premium, which means all three events will have an invite-only policy. We realise this can be frustrating for some, so we've set up a competition to give away what we hope you'll agree is a generous amount of double passes for the parties: our event on the Thursday will have 50 double passes up for grabs, while 25 double passes will be available for each of Mobilee's nighttime shindigs. Oh, and we're also throwing in three pairs of AKG's top-of-the-line K181 DJ headphones, which will go to one grand prize winner for each of the three nights.
The competition is incredibly simple to enter (we promise). To get started, head to our RA Competitions page via the link below.
