- A host of Sydney beat producers will spin at the party later this month.
The team behind Sydney beat institution Headroom have revealed the details of their next party, which is set to go down later this month.
Headroom has been at the forefront of Sydney's wonky, electronic hip-hop and glitch movement for some time now. They've consistently chosen to keep the focus on local talent, while occasionally hosting international guests. Hudson Mohawke and Vibesquad are two such internationals that have stepped behind the Headroom booths, while locals like Mark Pritchard, Dizz1 have both also played headliner in recent months. This time around, Headroom will be an exclusively local affair, with Know-U, Suburban Dark and Elliot set to spin. As per usual, the guests be joined by Headroom residents and promoters Monk Fly and Jonny Faith.
The crew responsible for Headroom are also a driving force behind Thursday night weekly Basic, which has been showcasing the assorted sounds of experimental hip-hop and dubstep at 202 Broadway for the past few months.
