- Alexander Nut and Floating Points will be bringing their whole roster along for their showcase event at the end of the month.
- Eglo Records will host a full label showcase at London's CAMP on Saturday 31st July. Label heads Alexander Nut and Floating Points have already amassed quite a following in just 18 months, fusing together elements of house, boogie and hip-hop and refusing to be pinned down by a particular stylistic trait. Their consistently quality output has made them a favourite here in the RA offices, with with imprint recently scoring our label of the month accolade. Dubbed as their Summer Takeover, the party will see every single member of the Eglo family make an appearance, with FunkinEven set to step up to the decks, while Fatima and Shuanise will both perform vocal PAs over the top of the DJs. Billed as an all-vinyl session, you can be sure of a varied night of music that should shed some light on both their influences and new material. There is also the promise of a very special guest DJ, although inquisitive revellers will have to attend the bash to find out who exactly they've got in store.
