  • Leeds-based producer Jack Sparrow has finished work on his first full-length, slated for release this October. The album is called Circadian Rhythm, a term that refers to the "roughly 24-hour cycle in the biochemical, physiological or behavioural processes of living entities." Though it's hard to say exactly why, this seems like an appropriate motif for Sparrow's sound, which has so far been focused on organic, often tribal-tinged dubstep. The album features mostly new productions by Sparrow, plus selections from his recent 12-inches. Guest appearances come from the vocalist Indi Kaur, who also sang on Pinch's track "Angels in the Rain," and fellow Leeds producer Ruckspin, who helps Sparrow revamp "The Chase," his A-side from last summer. Like most of his output so far, Circadian Rhythm will see release on Pinch's acclaimed Tectonic Recordings. Tracklist 01. Loveless 02. Dread feat. Ruckspin 03. The Chase VIP 04. Salvation 05. Terminal 06. Shoal 07. Subterranean feat. Indi Kaur 08. Dune 09. Relapse 10. Regress 11. Exit Tectonic will release Circadian Rhythm in October.
