- The Swedish producer dons his Forever Delayed alias for a new full-length due out this fall.
Techno artist Staffan Linzatti will release his debut album this October under the alias Forever Delayed.
To date, Linzatti has focused mostly on club-oriented minimal and techno, most of which he's released under his own name. In the five years since his debut the Berlin-based artist has put out records on Stockholm Ltd, Synewave and District of Corruption, sometimes collaborating with Par Grindvik or his brother Mathias under the name Decoy Linzatti. The new full-length will be his second release so far as Forever Delayed, following 2007's Rotter EP. According to Linzatti, using a pseudonym allowed him to be more introspective in his music than usual. "It was a way for me to shut out the outside world," he says. "To imagine and realize what or where ever place I wanted to create, visualizing the particular emotional scenario I wanted through the musical ideas that came to mind." The self-titled record will see release on Islands & Islets, a Berlin-based sub-label of Stockholm Ltd.
