DJ and producer John Tejada is set to release Assimilation, an EP and digital full-length produced in collaboration with Josh Humphrey.
Assimilation will see release on Palette Recordings, the label Tejada has run since 1996 as a platform for his own releases. The record's first incarnation will be a four-track EP due out later this month, followed in November by a digital version with seven extra tracks, resulting in a full-length album. The record will mark Tejada's second collaboration with Humphrey, an artist who debuted on their 12-inch from last year, Marooned. According to the label, both records are rooted in the theme of being stranded in Los Angeles, the city both producers call home.
