Tresor has announced details for Tresorspective Wave 2, another big batch of reissues of label classics.
With a catalog stretching back to 1991, Tresor is one of techno's quintessential labels, and a key part of the artistic dialog between Europe and Detroit. That said, it also hosted a number of acclaimed minimal and house releases, such as Matthew Herbert's mix CD Let's All Make Mistakes—one of the titles included in Tresorspective Wave 2. All in all, the slew of re-issues includes four CDs, five LPs and five 12-inches, plus eight digital releases. Album highlights include Jeff Mills' Metropolis, Robert Hood's Internal Empire, Drexciya's Harnessed the Storm and the label compilations True Spirit Vol. 1 and It's Not Over. All of these records are available for order through Tresor's official website, along with a few from Tresorspective Wave 1, which came out last summer. Though details are scarce, a third wave is said to be in the works.
