  • American producer and vocalist Chaz Bundwick, better known as Toro Y Moi, will make his Australian debut next month with gigs in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. In the relatively short time he's spent in the spotlight, Bundwick has become one of the US's most acclaimed new indie artists. The 24-year-old's grounding lies in hip-hop, house and indie rock, and his output both blends and transcends all three. His debut album, Causers of This went down as one of 2010's most impressive debuts, scoring highly in RA's year end polls. Bundwick's Australian jaunt will begin at Melbourne's Toff In Town on February 17th, followed by a gig at The Workers Club the next night. New South Wales audiences will have two chances to catch Bundwick in action; once at Playground Weekender's annual shindig, and again on the 23rd for Future Classic at Good God Small Club. The tour comes to a close the following night at the Woodland in Brisbane. Tickets to Toro y Moi's gig at Future Classic are available here on RA Tickets.
