  • Singaporean techno producer Xhin will be making his Australian debut in March. Thanks to series of successful singles, Xhin has become Singapore's best-known techno export. His raw and upfront productions have found their way on to several high-profile European labels, being released by the likes of Stroboscopic Artifacts, Ware and Apotek. As the experimental and futuristic nature of his own productions may suggest, Xhin has a keen eye for music technology, an interest that follows him into the DJ booth. His sets often involve the intricate layering of up to four tracks at a time, usually with the aid of Ableton, iPads and a number of external controllers. Xhin will kick off his Australian mini-tour with a set in Melbourne for Haul Music and Tea at Miss Libertine on March 19th. From there, he'll head north to Brisbane and Sydney where he'll be playing at Bar Soma, after which he'll visit Sydney with three-hour set for Disconnected at the Civic Underground. Tickets to his Melbourne appearance are available here at RA.
