The Singapore superclub will commemorate their 20th birthday with Danny Tenaglia and Armin van Buuren next month.
Long at the forefront of electronic music in Asia, the Zouk brand has today established itself as Singapore's best loved and most recognized club. Aside from nights held at their own venues (including Velvet Underground and Phuture), the club also runs the annual ZoukOut festival, which last year celebrated its tenth anniversary, attracting over 20,000 punters.
In April, the club will stage four consecutive nights, paying homage to their 20 years of history. Starting the proceedings will be another edition of their infamous Mambo Jambo theme night, followed by Dutch trance DJ Armin van Buuren the next night. Friday 15th April will be reserved for One World, One Music, One Tribe, One Dance, with no lineup announced as of yet, and veteran New York selector Danny Tenaglia, who recently celebrated the milestone of his 50th birthday, will round out celebrations on the Saturday.
