- Kaito will release a new album under his real name in April.
The next album by Hiroshi Watanabe is called Sync Positive, and is due for release this April.
Watanabe has remained prolific ever since his debut in the mid-'90s, with over a dozen full-lengths released so far, though the majority of his output has been under the alias Kaito, a project that's been a staple of Kompakt over the last decade. Stylistically, Sync Positive shows the Japanese producer staying loyal to his trademark sound: atmospheric house and techno with consistently epic melodies. Though he still lives in Tokyo, the album will come out on Klik Records, an Athens-based label that's put out a handful of Watanabe's releases before, including two of his full-lengths.
