- Tronic will release will release the duo's second album at the end of May.
German duo D-Nox and Beckers have completed their next long player, Distance.
Having released on labels like Systematic, Baroque and Global Underground, the German duo this year caught the ear of Tronic boss Christian Smith, who invited them to mix the second edition of the label's Tronic Treatment compilation series. Now, the pair are readying their ten-track long player, which will feature a number of collaborations.
The album comes after many singles together, the first of which was 2005's You're A Star/ Jetlag Slave. This first release exemplifies the big room sound which the duo are now most well known for. Distance will mostly stay true to this identity, diverging at several points, covering, for example, filter house in "What I Have," a loungier sound with "Jacaranda" or darker techno with "Follow Me."
