The German producer will take his live set on the road with support from The Sight Below.
Pantha Du Prince will make a series of live appearances in North America this month, starting tomorrow night in Chicago.
Now splitting his time between Berlin and Paris, Hendrik Weber has been releasing music as Pantha Du Prince for the better part of the last decade. An introspective blend of techno, ambient and shoegaze textures, his productions appeared exclusively on Hamburg's Dial Records before last year's acclaimed Black Noise, his third full-length album, was released on London's Rough Trade. The tour coincides with next week's release of a Black Noise remix compilation, which will feature a re-work from The Sight Below; the American producer has been a fixture on Ghostly International with a similarly dreamy aesthetic, and will join Pantha Du Prince on tour with his own live set.
Aside from tomorrow's stop in Chicago, most of the North American appearances will take place along the east coast. The tour hits Canada this weekend with shows in Toronto and Montreal before heading to Boston next Monday to officially launch the city's Together Festival. Baltimore and Washington D.C. will also host weekday events before the trip wraps up next Friday in New York.
