Here's a look at what's on in the UK capital this Sunday night.
Bank holidays are always a gold-plated excuse to go out on a Sunday, but after the ordeal that was today's royal wedding, this weekend it's more needed than ever. So here's a quick summary of what you can get into on May 1st.
Daytime options alone are in no short supply. Secretsundaze are throwing their 10th anniversary party at The House Club & Terrace, with Kyle Hall and Sven Weisemann lined up as guests. Meanwhile, Layo & Bushwacka! headline Spilt Milk's shindig at the Papermill, Radio Slave and Nina Kraviz share the bill at Mixmag's day party (venue TBA), and Tom Demac will play on the roof at the Queen of Hoxton. If you've got an itch for serious techno, Marcel Fengler will man the decks at The CAMP. For a one-stop party marathon, head to Vibe Bar, where Matt Tolfrey and a slew of other DJs will carry on from 3:00 PM til 5:00 AM on Monday.
Naturally, loads of options open up once the sun goes down, but you won't have to wait as long as usual. XOYO are hosting a Stand Up For Japan benefit party at 5:30 PM, with 2 Many DJs, Caribou and Andrew Weatherall. A few hours later, Village Underground will open its doors for a free party headlined by Dubfire. As for the nighttime proper, you can catch Ryan Elliott at Electric State, Miss Kittin at fabric, Kenny Larkin at Lo*kee's third anniversary, or Sasha and Dan Ghenacia at Ministry of Sound. Classic house fans will likely make a beeline for Black Atlantic, where Larry Heard and Robert Owens share the bill with Wbeeza.
