- The German acid pioneers look back on 20 years of music with a new three-disc collection.
Hardfloor have prepared a three-disc collection looking back over their entire career, due for release next month.
Characterized by their massive sound and undying love for the TB-303, of which they've been known to use as many as six at a time, Oliver Bondzio and Ramon Zenker are some of acid techno's most steadfast pioneers. They helped define the genre's sound with early records like Hardtrance Acperience EP, and have remained prolific ever since, releasing reams of 12-inches and album through Sven Vath's Harthouse imprint and later through their own self-titled label. Two Decades of Hardfloor covers all eras of the German duo's career until their most recent album, 2010's Two Guys Three Boxes. It's unmixed, and includes three previously unreleased tracks: "Eternal Tweak" and "T.D.O.H." ("Two Decades of Hardfloor").
